This comic follows the adventures of a small group as they are swept into the center of a conflict between two powerful clans. Think of it as being caught in the middle of a mob power struggle. Drama, action, humor, romance, and one creepy old man.

Amanda Harpold and Jessica Riojas have been best friends since they were eight (they are 27 and 26 now, respectively).
About Amanda: An office girl by day, Amanda spends her non-working hours working on comics, wasting precious time playing video games, and spazzing out about things that are dumb. She also takes a lot of pictures and likes dinosaurs.
About Jessica: A barista and college student, Jess spends her non-working/schooling hours taking excellent care of her two cats and one boyfriend. She also takes on creative painting projects and makes yummy tea. |

Q: Looks like two different styles are meshing together to produce Salt the Holly. What's going on?
A: Amanda Q: Salt the Holly? WTF does that mean, anyway? A: In the summer of 2007, Amanda had a dream of epic proportions. After foiling an evil mastermind's plot to take over the world, she turned to her friends and said, "We sure salted his holly," and then promptly woke up. A Google search turned up no relevant results, so Amanda realized she had completely made up a phrase. Since a comic already existed with the title Errantry (Salt's original title), she named the comic Salt the Holly. The rest, as they say, is history! Q: Ninja clans in present day? Isn't that a little far-fetched? A: Actually, no. Think of them as two different mob factions. You're either born into or marry into a mob - same as with the Black Mongoose and Grey Flame clans. (They also spend a good deal of time killing one another for no apparent reasons.) Each clan earns money from a reputable business. The Black Mongoose clan owns Mongooseuticals, a profitable pharmaceutical company. The Grey Flame clan owns a variety of small, unassuming businesses scattered about the globe.
