Date Posted: August 14, 2008. LOTS OF NEWS! Please be patient/awesome and read it - there's some good stuff in there, I promise. On a real life note, Jess took her poor cat (not the inspiration for Cat Face - the other one) in for surgery to remove a cancerous growth from his ear...but they ended up having to remove the ENTIRE ear =[ It's so sad...but the good part is that he'll be just fine...if slightly less complete. In happier news, drawing Lia for this was so much fun ^.^ I also picked up a new way to draw people, so I'm hoping my grasp of proportion will improve rapidly. We'll see what happens. People look much more comfortable - well, except for Brio with his new highwater pants. Cade *was* the one who picked the clothes out, after all. *snrk* The finalists for the 2008 Drunk Duck Awards have been posted in the Awards forum! Go check 'em out! Thank you guys so much for voting for Salt (we're up for Best Adventure and Most Improved)! I'm floored that we're up there with so many amazing comics. Plus it's really cool to see that a lot of the comics I voted for ended up being finalists. Drunk Duck has good taste =D
