Date Posted: July 10, 2008. My butt hurts. Seriously. I've been sitting and doing this comic for HOURS! Amanda has been teaching me how to use photoshop. Guys... I love you all, but I'd much rather be just an artist... or, OR have magic powers that would allow me to scan it onto the computer in perfect form using only my brain. Yup. Sweet.
I know I don't post on the forums and I don't really even post here that much either, so no one here really knows "Jess." Trevor has been so kind to point that out to me today by the fact that as far as many of you think, I'm still dating some dude and I've moved several states away from Amanda. THAT IS NOT TRUE! I dumped the guy and I've only moved to a nice little suburb of Austin. It's about 40 minutes drive from Amanda's house, but I spend most of the time in Austin anyway so we still see each other several times a week. Fluffy Kitty is CAT FACE! Yes. That is him in real life. He loves having his picture taken, so hopefully we can use more pictures of him in the future. In the timeline of the comic, this event took place about 6 years ago. The girls should look a little different. I hope it comes across that way. Mr. Travon is DISGUSTING! I hate him! I hate drawing him. He grosses me out! Every time we had to look at the panel of him, Amanda and I both screamed in disgust and loathing. EVERY time because we hate him that much. I think the only reason we keep him around is for you guys. Be proud of yourselves and your taste in people! Gah! I'd hate to know who your friends are! (No offense.) Lastly, this coffee shop is modeled after one of the coolest places in Austin called Kick Butt Coffee! We discovered it when one of our friends performed some improv there. It's totally awesome. They also host a really cool party every two weeks called Kick Butt Blues. If any of you guys do blues dancing, COME VISIT ME! I'm always willing to take on a new dance parter (given that he's NOT Mr. Travon!). *hugs and kisses* -Jess |
