Okay, we're in business! So, I noticed one of my headlights was out on my car, and you know, you can't just go driving around with one headlight (unless you're The Wallflowers). My reason for not getting all the coloring done was I had to go to AutoZone to get a new headlight and change out the old one before it got dark. Bleah. After an epic struggle, I triumphed over my lighting assembly and changed out my own headlight. I felt like such a mechanic.
Right. Some notes about this page: *We've got an all-Amanda page again, but fear not, faithful BetaJess fans! Once all this move-to-a-different-city stuff calms down, she'll be back! *We have TWO cameos today! The first one is Kalon Rhadon from The Chronicles of Wyrden. This comic is done by a writer and artist team and is *amazing* - no, really - you aren't reading it? Then shame on you! I've been plotting recently to steal Kalon's hairband (it's so pretty), so I figured that now was a good time (since he'd totally kick my ass in any other situation). Since Chronicles is a black and white comic, I hope I didn't overstep my boundaries by picking colors ^.^ *The second cameo is Wizer from Surfboards and RayGuns by Bradleyo. This comic is beautifully done (especially the water effects) and definitely worth the visit. There's not a very big archive, so now is a great time to jump on (surf)board. Har har. (Yeah, sorry about that one.) *That cane exists! A friend of ours stole it from some guy in a bar (it was Halloween - it's not like he mugged an elderly person, but the details of the theft remain unclear). BetaJess and I stole it from the friend. Now it's ours! And it lives in my apartment! Hurray! |
